Theatre Grads. Earn Prestigious Employment

Stephanie Schlosser

2016 M.A. Theatre graduate Stephanie Schlosser recently left her job as a production technician at The Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina to take a job with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Her eleven-month assignment is in Sacramento, California where she will be working as a Corps Team Leader in the Pacific region. We are excited to see how Stephanie develops her skills in order to help others during a disaster. Congratulations Stephanie!

Elisabeth Emhof

Congratulations to 2017 Theatre Arts graduate Elisabeth Emhof, who has been accepted into the highly-competitive Teach for America program. With only a 15% acceptance rate for applicants, Teach for America admits top-tier university graduates, placing them in classrooms in neglected urban and rural schools. Next year she will be at Lake City High School, Florence District 3, teaching high school English. We are so proud of Elisabeth’s hard work, and her interest in making a difference in her community.
