Applying theatre to life
As a part of their Thesis event (the capstone event of their 2-year M.A. Theatre arts program), this year's grad. students partnered wth Greenville Hospital Systems. They received a grant for their work on writing and producing a new play that deals with drug-awareness and mental health. The thesis group took the play into a local public school, performed a streamlined version of the play, and led a talk-back with students.
Congratulations to Rebekah Nason (playwright), and the entire production team: John Cox, Kaitlyn Chisholm, and Bethany Woodfin. Special thanks to theatre arts alumni Lindsay Bean and Clinton Holden.
